If you ever pick up an Iowa Travel Guide you can find all kinds of places to see in this state. There isn’t much that is that well known about the state but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things to see. Take the Kate Shelly bridge. That is a well known story about how a little girl saw that the tracks had been washed out and ran across the railroad bridge to stop the oncoming train. A well known story but it isn’t well known that the bridge is near Boone, Iowa. Like I said, people just don’t know what there is to see in Iowa.
