I’ve been pondering about getting the most out of your gas card.  After all, it seems that the credit card companies as usual have everything set up to work in their favor.  If they give you a high gas rebate at any gas station then you get a low limit like you do with the Discover Open Road Card.  On the other hand, if you want a nice rebate, but don’t mind being limited to just one gas station, then you’ll want to get the Chase BP Visa which will give you a 5% rebate whenever you fill up at any BP station and 2% at any other station.  And if you don’t mind a lower rebate, then the Chase Freedom card will give you 3% cashback on not only gas, but groceries too.
