I have heard so much about refinancing my home loan but I still find myself asking the question, what is refinancing?  I don’t really understand why people refinance their loans so often.  What is the main benefit of doing it?  I can understand if they have equity in their homes and they want to get cash out of it.  But that is not the situation I am in .  My home’s value has stayed almost exactly the same so why would someone like me go out and get a home mortgage refinance loan?  If anyone reading this can tell me, I would appreciate it.
