Many of us get a job once we graduate from school that gives us some type of health benefits. We consider this important because we know how expensive medical bills can be. A parent should think about how important it is to get health insurance for students as well. Just because they are not working does not mean that they do not get sick or need medical attention. Coverages do not have to be expensive and can be picked based on the specific needs of each student. Things like dental and vision coverage do not have to necessarily be added to the policy.
