When I got my first pair of Andis hair clippers I thought I had really struck gold. I remember my grandmother cutting my air with her clippers. She came to live with us for five or six years when her husband had died and the farm got too much for her to manage on her own. So the hair clippers came with her and I watched her cutting her hair, trimming my sisters’ hair, and finally getting hold of me and clipping and cutting through my hair with pleasure. I must have been in my last year or so at primary school. Because she died (with a good haircut) when I had left high school. Hair, no doubt, trimmed neatly with her hair clippers.
