I have started to plan my new garden ready for the summer. It makes me feel better just to think about days in the sunshine unencumbered by heavy winter clothing sitting on my metal patio furniture and enjoying good times with my family. It makes a cheerful image during the gray days of winter.

My patio was the first thing I planned as I see that as the focal point of the garden. We spend more time using our metal patio furniture in the summer than we do our couch and armchairs indoors.

I guess it is human nature to enjoy being in the outdoors and maybe that is why everyone gets rather miserable through the winter months but summer is on it’s way.
