We have had family pets my entire life. Everything from kittens to dogs and mice but our dogs have been a big part of the family.

The first baby I had was actually my basset hound. She was mine before I had children and it still feels, almost 10 years later like she was my first child.

When it came to dog supplies for her, there was no expense spared. If I saw something that was too cute, unique or fun, I had to have it for her.

She had better stuff than I did and my husband used to get upset about it. Sadly neither one of them lasted and I know that I enjoyed her company more than his.
