Road trips with my sister are always good because you never know what you’ll find. I’ll never forget taking a detour to the museum containing the best rice cookers in the town that one year. I mean, it would never have occurred to us to collect something like that. The kindly curator even taught us how to evaluate if a rice cooker was a great buy or not. I didn’t know that condensed steam can make rice soggy, and that there are lids to prevent it from materializing. That way, the rice stays nice after cooking and never gets soggy. Rice is my preferred food. There are so many dishes you can cook with rice.
