As with other leather products, Women’s Leather Jackets will require some routine maintenance.  Among other things, you will need to oil the leather on a regular basis in order to prevent cracking and drying.  Typically, the manufacturer of the garment will include a tag that gives you information about the type of oil to use.  For the most part, if you follow the care instructions provided with your new jacket, it should last for years.  You will also find that a well maintained jacket will not lose its coloring, let alone its ability to keep you warm and comfortable.  In some cases, you may even find that the leather will look better as the jacket ages.
