Thankfully pat testing is one of those proceedings that can be carried out in the business environment with a minimum of disruption both to staff and the running of the business. The amount of disturbance to the workplace will hinge largely on the equipment being tested with some pat testing able to be completed on an item within the space of a few minutes. Timescales and levels of disruption does vary of course with certain appliances and installations needing to be more thoroughly examined than others. In conclusion than it can be seen that whilst pat testing is invasive in that appliances do need to stop running in order to be tested the disturbance to company and staff is fairly slight.
