When I was in grammar school we had many of those days when they would have an assembly so we could all see a real fire truck, police car, and ambulance. We listened to them tell us about the job and show us the neat vehicles and tools used but what I never saw were doctors coming to our class to show us what we needed to do to enter medical school. Luckily I saw a medical school reviews site that laid it all out for me but I think with it being so hard to get in and you having to have top grades in high school they should send out representatives to the schools to make people aware so if this is what they want to do when they grow up they will at least have a chance to prepare before its too late.
