My daughter is a recent  high school graduate and is not really the college type. Instead, she’s looking into pharmacy tech schools in our area. She wants to live at home and train to be a tech. I encouraged her to go to college and become a pharmacist, but she says that takes too much schooling. She wants a trade instead that will allow her to go to work sooner and move out into her own apartment sooner too. I just want her to be happy in whatever career she chooses. I want her to be productive and enjoy what she is doing in life.
